    Connection problems

Some of you may have experienced a problem connecting to the site overnight and this morning.

That problem has been resolved, but may take a couple of hours to work through the system.

    I apologize for any inconvenience.

I just figured it was my usual lousy connection. Didn't give it a second thought.

We had problems with our network/system in the past so, I wasn't sure if the problem was here or at FORT. I was also hitting that refresh button.

Thank you, John! Words cannot express my dismay when I found out this morning that I couldn't log on at all. The same thing happened to me all of yesterday, too... strange, but it's back now, so all is right in the world

Count me in on the refresh panic....not to mention I was freaking out about what I was going to do with my time...

Me too! And then I started to panic thinking I was banned because I posted a goofed up post in the "lingo" thread (I tried to type smileys using a semi colon and a parenthesis but it came out as a graphic smiley - which caused my post to make no sense whatsoever ). I am so paranoid.

Glad you fixed the problem, John -- and happy to see my screename without a line through it

Thanks John! I did get to get my FORT "fix" yesterday though, because I go through the same thing updating Windows, and end up using Explorer. Still, I prefer to go ahead and browse through aol since I'm already signed onto them anyway.
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.
