Rather than a quote, I have seen "links" to other posts in other threads (or even within the same thread for that matter). Also, I assume the same information would apply on how to link up to an article from an outside source? I've been cutting and pasting and a link seems so much more efficient and less of a space hog. Can someone help?

just find the thread you want to link to, hi-lite and copy the url then type the following WITHOUT ASTERICKS
[*url=*http://www.fansofrealitytv.com/*] then type what you want the link to say in this space [*/url*]
it will look like this:
then type whatever you want the link to say in this space

You click on the post number in the upper right-hand corner of the frame, and it opens in a new window. Copy the address to your clipboard, and there you have it.

If you are looking to save steps you can right click on the post number and copy the shortcut without opening it up in a new window...;)Quote:
