I bet those are animated, aren't they?

Sigh.

I know this is an ancient post, but I was wondering about static smilies. I used to see the animation, haven't changed anything I'm aware of, and now can't see it. Does anyone have any ideas 1) why; 2) how I can get animation back?

Amanda's issue was some new software she'd installed. A pop-up blocker, or a firewall, or something. I don't remember off the top of my head.

It was my firewall. I can't remember exactly what the setting was, but when I saw it, it was immediately obvious that it was the one causing the problem. I unchecked it, and have had all the delicious animation anyone could hope for since.

(The firewall I use is Zone Alarm Pro, btw, if that means anything. Which it probably doesn't.)

Hmmm, was another smilie removed recently? The orange one with the tongue sticking out? I think it's :phht. I noticed it fell off my sig line a few days ago.

Perhaps it was removed because it's too sarcastic?

I love all the smilies...and hardly notice when they are removed. My favorites are these
but I don't know when I would really use them.

There are so many smilies I never know which to pick to best describe how I'm feeling. Its like being in a candy shop. What I did notice though (and just recently too) the smilies in the box to the right ------> with each post they change...or move around in the box.

Between "rolleyes" and "pfft", half of my previous posts are probably smiley-free by now.
