Who shot who in the what now?
HA! That's hilarious. There's a person I don't even know who has me on their list.
I don't have anyone on mine. I didn't think it did anything.
How do you know if someone added you?
Just click on "User CP", and it's near the bottom on the left. It'll list all users that have you as a "buddy".
That should about do it, lalol...![]()
The buddy list has SOME usefulness. You can open it in a pop-up window, and it'll list all your buddies with who's online and who isn't. You can also easily PM your buddies, or groups of them up to 5 at a time, just by clicking. The + sign in front of names on the "Who's Online" listing, and some other stuff.
Some people use it, some people don't. As for why I did this, as I said, it was more an exercise in programming than anything else.
And Greenie, you're the only person on my buddy list - you were my test subject![]()
how honored greenie
how many buddies added you John
?
Wow I feel so special.
I like carrying my buddy list with me (ok that sounds weird) when I leave FORT, that way if a buddy comes on I know they're there. Does that make sense?![]()
Who shot who in the what now?
I'm on 56 buddy lists, which is actually smaller than I expected. I figure people want to know when I'm on-line so they can avoid me, right?
