I do have Firefox. I usually try to get rid of the pop-up as soon as I see it. Never actually took the time to read it. Thanks Hepcat. I will try that next time.

Anyone know much about monitors?
I bought my flatscreen 15 months ago. For a few months, the screen seemed to be going on / off. Now, it seems to come on only intermittently. The power button lights up but the screen doesn't go on. I've checked the connections, etc. and all are fine.
Any ideas?

Yes, we are allowing those links now. As always, we're a PG-13 site, so members should keep that in mind when posting links.

We still don't allow embedded video from YouTube or anywhere else

Maidstone, if you've done a search and don't see a thread for a show you watch, go ahead and start it yourself. Do keep in mind for that Dr. Drew show that we are PG-13, and we don't allow a lot of TMI-type posting.

I used to have this problem with my previous computer. I was able to figure out that if I powered up the computer and turned on the monitor at the very same time or within a split second, the monitor was fine. I had that computer for so long it was just a matter of time before I had to buy a new PC. 15 months is not a long time, but these days it seems nothing lasts when it comes to PC's. Have you performed an update or system check, it might be a new driver that needs to be updated.
