    Private Message stuff

    We've turned on the "message read receipt" function.

    When you go into your PM box, the top section is a list of receipts for PM's you've sent. You can't open them or anything, and you may think they are your actual PM's. They're not.

    Scroll down, and you'll see your PM's under that listing.

    You can clear out those receipts by checking them and clicking on "Delete Selected" underneath the list.

    Different PM question

    When the last upgrade was made July 4th weekend (thanks John) I was sure I saw another piece of info under the PM.

    It was for messages sent but not read. I can't find that now. Is it gone?

    Also, the regular post delete option is still gone. Will that be coming back?

    need help

    I've been trying to respond to a pm from another member, but when I try to send my reply I get kicked out to a message that I need to log in (or may not be registered or am trying to do something I'm not authorized to do).

    Where have I gone wrong?

    Hi Creadha,

    I don't know the answer to that. However, you can find that member's post or look them up on the top of the screen under members. Once you find that person, you can choose to PM them. Good luck.

    Even though I haven't changed the settings I sometimes I get the pop up screen that I have a PM and sometimes I don't. Does it matter what I'm doing at the time?

    It seems to me, after having experienced it for a while, that if you choose to open your PM in another window when the notification pops up, and then don't close that window, even if you go to another page, you won't get the notification again. That may or may not be the problem.

    When you send a PM to multiple receipients, do they see who the other person/people are who are receiving the same PM?

    I'm sure there is an obvious answer to this that I am just not seeing. Is there any way to keep your pms from being saved in the sent folder?
