    It's stories like those that make me thankful we live in a country where all religions/beliefs are tolerated and celebrated. In some parts of the world, there is only one state religion ... follow or suffer.

    I think this show did a pretty good job in the area of 'exploring' religion.

    I found this thread very interesting. Although we have no Amish around here, we do have several Hutterite colonies and the amount of false information that circulates about them is significant. My uncle is close friends with several Hutterites and I have dealt with them in many situations. And like the Amish almost every single community has different rules and standards that their members are held to. It is nice that someone who has more intimate knowledge of the Amish is able to clarify things.
