A sob story is pretty much required if you want to interview with Seventeen. If you remember the aboriginal dance challenge is cycle 8, Natasha was clearly the only one who did anything at all resembling the dance that they had been shown. The other three girls stood their and talked about their body paint and Renee talked about being abused. Instant win!

Besides, let's look at the winners since Seventeen has become the sponsor. CariDee had her suicide scare that was mentioned on the show, but I didn't read her interview, so I don't know what she talked about. Jaslene talked about her abusive ex, and Saleisha talked about her drug addicted parents. The show wants to send girls that will "inspire" by "overcoming adversity", I'm sure of it. A girl who was just kind of awkward in high school or was a bit overweight or something? That's not what they want, they want hell and back.

They all have sob stories, although some arent as strong as others, they all have sob stories.

Adrianne- She had been lured into modeling scams, she was a waitress not making lots of money, etc.

Yoanna- Weight issues.

Eva- The b*tch who humbled herself.

Naima- Troubled past, channeled to modeling.

Nicole- her mother didnt believe in her, and liked her sister more.

Danielle- She had to take care of her mother.

CariDee- Psoarisis(sp?), attempted suicide, etc.

Jaslene- "Never give up", she was abused by her boyfriend.

Saleisha- She had self-esteem issues when she was 14, so she went to T-Zone..?

(Another reason why Saleisha is the worst winner, she doesnt even have a good sob story!)
