I wouldn't say 'big time'. Models with dark hair contrasted by pale skin, much like her, can get work instantaneously in places like Bangkok, Korea, and China...those markets are oversaturated with girls like her.

It's actually not like that in my home country Indonesia. Usually the models like to dye their hair (even the male models) I really don't get why they hate their natural hair. And about the pale skin, some of the models usually go to beach to specially tan their skins. I don't know about Bangkok, China, Korea though.

From what I have observed: in Asia they usually use white models who look a little bit Asian or Asian models who look a little bit white. In Elyse's blog she talks about having to get brown contact lenses and she has died her dark brown hair to black a few times.

Well, she has dark hair and it looks very natural on her. so thats the little bit Asian I mean. Some girls who dye their hair black look so obviously fake (myself for one) Of course I realize there is more to looking asian than just hair colour

Allison is really an abbrasive girl and I actually agree with the judges that she didn't know 2 words "thank you". She would've win the competition if she really2 knew what is modelling is actually about.

To determine that someone is an asian is you must their eyes colour (mostly asian eyes are black), their heights, hair and they way they bring themselve infront the public.
