Welcome to CHINA!! We're excited you're on this exciting trip around the world with the final 6 girls who are hoping to be America's Next Top Model. We begin as the girls are freaking out as they prepare to leave for their trip. Lisa's rather upset because of her position as one of the bottom 2 last week. I'd be more upset about the obscene amount of clothes amassed on the floor. It's like Aeropostale exploded and Heather's right in the middle of it. The girls grab their overstuffed Samsonites, which I'm betting are going to require the "over the weight limit" fee. Heather saunters behind the pack. I'm thinking Bianca was hoping Heather was actually left behind.
In a blink we're the in bright lights of Shanghai and the girls are luggage cart racing through the airport. Chantal makes the most brilliant statement yet..."We're in China!". Her lightbulb is just catching up with the rest of her brain. Or maybe it's just jetlag. Or not. Bianca just wants to shop because everything's Made in China. If she's in the market for some lead covered toys or some poisonous aquadots, she's most definitely in the right place. Jay and J (who needs to buy an vowel and a pseudo vowel) meet the girls waterside and remind them, in unison, only one of them will be America's Next Top Model.
The girls head to their new home, so sweetly disguised as a penthouse suite on the 63rd floor. Is anyone sure they're really in Shanghai? Are we sure they're not just recycling the Palms from Real World Vegas with some Chinese accents thrown in? The suite is full of crystal, red bedding and framed Seventeen Magazine photos. Way to jazz up the place. And speaking of bedding, there are only 5 beds and 6 girls. If you ask me, they weigh the equivalent of 4 normal size women, so there really should be an extra bed. But nobody asked me. Heather's left without a bed and she's whiney and pouty about it - tired of the bull. Saleisha is in a bed that is obviously large enough for 2 (and again, if you asked me, probably 3. I'm just sayin'). Bianca just thought the whole bedding situation was hysterical, but Heather doesn't get the joke. Chantal reminds everyone of her earlier revelation that they're in China (really?), not to freak out and that if 2 people want to share a soft bed, speak up. I see Chantal's not offering up her side of the bed, so Jenah and Bianca decide to bunk together. Fake Drama Over.

The girls arrive at the Shanghai Film Studio or as Jenah calls it, the Universal Studios of China. Well, sorta. Tour Guide Louis greets them and shows them where a Jackie Chan movie is currently filming. In true Jackie Chan fashion, a martial artist attacks poor Louis. Bianca wonders why nobody is coming to help. Here's a little hint, you're in a FILM STUDIO. Any possibility it's, I don't know, staged??? Tour Guide Louis fesses up that he's actually a professional martial arts artist and he's going to teach the girls some positions. No, not those positions! They attempt some of these said positions while stumbling and falling. They change into traditional Chinese robes and Louis puts them to the test.
Peter Pan swoops in and fights with his evil nemesis midair. The challenge will be to do the learned positions while hoisted on wires midair. Bianca freaks because she's scared of heights.
We begin with the battle of the blondes. Chantal and Jenah attempt some positions but it looks more like kindergarten phys ed when you learn to touch your toes. Saleisha and Lisa then do a few positions. Lisa's scared and Saleisha had fun, but Saleisha is confident that they both did well. Next is Bianca and Heather. Sort of. Bianca tells Heather it's the only time Heather can kick her ass. I'm thinking she'll be eating her words. Bianca really doesn't want to do it and Louis tells her that she would be disqualified if she doesn't participate. Without warning, Bianca is hoisted in the air. She freaks out and asks to be brought back down. She was then disqualified (and I believe she's full from eating those words!). Heather went by herself and looked rather poised striking a pose in the air.
Louis selects Heather as the winner. She wins a whopping 4000 rmb! Oooh, a new waverunner perhaps? Oh, wait. It only amounts to $532.18. Thank God they threw in that 18 cents. She is being sent on a shopping spree and selects Chantal to share all that money. They breeze through Shanghai and tower over everyone, spending every last 18 cents.

The girls are told to bring clothes that represent their personalities. Brent from CoverGirl joins them. They're shooting a commercial and print ad for the CoverGirl Queen Collection.

- Saleisha goes first and flubs take 1 and 2, but does look adorable. Take 3 annnnnnnd cut.
- Bianca makes it to take 7, telling us she has flaws and makes them beautiful.
- Heather basically eats her tongue for the first 200 or so takes. She basically sucked.
- Jenah. Take 13. 'nuff said
- Chantal - After take 7, looks just like the girl next door
- Lisa - She tries to wiggle the nerves out, but can't. In a word, disaster.
Tomorrow you will meet with the judges. Only 5 will continue on in the hope of becoming America's Next Top Model. Love, Tyra
Lisa feels like her confidence is under the table. Maybe she should flip the table upside down! Bianca won't let them send her home for not going 30 feet in the air and Heather knows she has weaknesses. Tyra sure looks mean as the girls enter the China Judging Room. She rehashes the amazing prizes and the judges including Nigel, J, Twiggy and Jeffrey Chu, photographer on the CoverGirl shoot.
- Lisa - Tyra tells her she needs to learn how to get out the cry. All they could see was panic. The photo shoot was beautiful, however
- Chantal - Adorable! More princessy than queen, but charming. Very farmgirl look in the photo shoot. Judges loved her
- Bianca - Commercial was majorly flawed and a mess, but she did look beautiful. Tyra thought her photo shoot depicted a strong black woman.
- Jenah - She lacked charm and sincerity. Loved the reckless abandon of the photo shoot.
- Saleisha - Just beautiful - commercial was good, but her photo shoot always has squinty smiles.
- Heather - She just wasn't able to mimic the performance and struggled, even with Jay's help. She must focus. Her photo shoot did show a different side - she was beautiful and had such a nice smile.
The judges will now deliberate and Tyra reminds them that one of them will go home.
During deliberation, the judges have this to say:
- Lisa - commercial was weak. Twiggy argues that none of them got the delivery of lines in the commercial, but hers were a disaster. She does have a great presence on screen.
- Chantal - pretty and cute - This was their favorite commercial.
- Heather - looked gorgeous but not sure if she can hold it together. Her smile actually shocks Tyra!
- Saleisha - approachable, but not a lot of improvement. Shows potential. Inner beauty goes a long way.
- Jenah - Nigel's not fond of her at all - thinks she thinks she deserves to be there. Tyra isn't sure Jenah's truly invested in the process.
- Bianca - commercial was hideous but they do love her smile.
The gong sounds and Tyra once again goes expressionless. Six ladies stand before her, 5 will continue on toward......America's Next Top Model.
Collectively, it was a mess

Lisa finally does get that cry out and she exits.
