Somebody in I think the makeover thread photoshopped the Omahyra cut on her and I thought it looked VERY attractive on her.

yep she was a semi-finalist in cycle 7, did the nude shoot, but didn't get picked as one of the final 13

she might win because;
- a white girl won cycle 7
- she's a girl of color
- no latina girls have ever won

How is one to interpret this? That the standards were higher last year and she didn't make it and for C8 the standards aren't as high and she made it? Or did she change drastically? This can be wondered about all girls who made it on their second or more try-out

I don't think it's a matter of standards, they just try to fit certain stereotypes or characters in one season
maybe they thought they had a girl like jaslene last cycle
however this cycle, they may have thought a girl like jaslene would spice things up:D

One of the things i remember of jaslene, instead of her dancing she learned at catholic school was those yellow shoes.... i don't know why. But i kind of glad she is there.
