Wow! Ignore my last post. Danielle has majorly improved!
Ha! And I doubt it; not much fanfare is being made from Tyra as with Nicole. Also, I believe ElleGirl has ceased publication, so she can't get that cover.She better get six pages or more in Elle or else I'm gonna start some drama!
Here's the thing: I think Danielle is likeable and marketable in a great way, as much as Eva, but with the added advantage of being tall and having a modelesque figure. I bet she can land the cover of Essence and do some good print work for teen mags and commercial products, while also doing a little runway.
She's going to have to work for it and knock on people's doors herself though. Cycle 6, like 4, has ended with a long stretch before any runway or TV appearances become available.
Wow did she look great in those pictures or what. Yoanna looked like a ghost, Tyra looked like the "mom of the model", Nicole looked like someone's little sister who snuck in the picture and Danielle rocks it. Looking at the pictures she totally screams model and I really hope that these pics are the start of something great.

One very interesting part of the second vid on that link was when Tyra was talking about Danielle's appeal-- and she really did confirm that Danielle was the best ANTM winner as of yet!As she said, ANTM has had winners that were beautiful but dull as dirt (Nicole, though she can be hella pretty) and other winners that were charismatic but stunted as models (Eva the Diva, though I do so love her!) And of course, we all know ANTM has had at least ONE winner who sucked as both a model as as a personality. (I'll let you fill in the blanks here...
)
But even TYRA (who harped on Danielle mercilessly) described her now as being model-gorgeous (unspoken goes the fact that she's also tall, thin, pretty, etc.), wildly charismatic (as her loyal fanbase shows) and really, really dedicated to working as a model. I think Danielle may very well be the first ANTM winner to completely outshine the runner up!
Also, here's a VEEERY interesting article from Slate that may demonstrate why Tyra (who, let's face it-- reeeeally didn't seem to want Danielle to win-- she hugged Joanie before Danielle in the last episode!) might have been so hard on Danielle. Horizontal racism is real and alive in America, I guess.
