    Re: Suggestions for future cycles

I would like to see more of the actual industry. So many people watch this show and get the impression that if you really want it and if you believe in yourself and if you're a charming girl, then you will be a top model.

Newsflash: If you're under 5'9, have hips bigger than 35 inches, or don't have the look that's in-season, it can be said with about 99.99999% certainty that you ain't goin anywhere.

The best episode ever was the one in C3 when they had go-sees and Cassie got chewed out by Marc Bouwer for having 39" hips, which in fashion is obscene. I know it's not PC, but America needs to know straight-up how things are, and Tyra needs to cut this "We are the world" stuff out.

99.9999% leaves .0001% for exceptions. Jaslene, I really wouldn't count. But exceptions happen. They are very few and very far between.

And yes, if this were my show the minimun height would be 5'9" with a grace of .5"

Kate Moss was the muse of a top designer-Calvin Klein and that played a huge part in her success.

She was also 15-ish when she was signed and weight approximately 95 pounds (eye-balling it). They thought she would grow. She didn't. By the time they realized it, she was already a star, so it didn't matter.

That's about fair. I'd be a little more lenient on age if someone looked young. Case in point, Mollie Sue. I'd go as low as 16, though. And maybe as high as 25, but she better look young.

I think 16 is a little too young. In AusNTM the 17 girls do well, but the 16 no.
    I'll miss Alamela.

stephanie hart, runner up from cycle 3 of AusNTM, was 16 years old. i don't think youth can hinder modeling talent.

I know that, In my opinion she doesn't look anything like a model and I don't like her.

and she also struggled with her age during the show.
    I'll miss Alamela.
