Yes she IS immature, she could have handled it differently. As much as I dislike Noelle I have to say that she handled it much better than Jayla...

On the main page at the Msnbc Television sections, she actually looks pretty good.
She looks beautiful! Very ethereal and very modelesque. I still think her behaviour is very high school though. I'll probably end up hating her (or - even worse - feel sorry for her), but she'll certainly provide some good entertainment. At least I hope so; she just might turn out to be all talk and no action. I don't know, I'm quite ambivalent about her. On one hand, I can relate to her attitude because I *blushes* used to be a bit like Jayla. In high school, that is. So it's certainly possible that I'll end up defending her just because she tugs at my heartstrings (my former angry, hurt Goth-y girl heartstrings, mind you). On the other hand, her MySpace (and let's face it, people, at this point, this is the only thing we have to go by) makes me embarrassed for her. She is beautiful though.
ETA: Her bad spelling kind of makes me like her less. Very elitist, I know... Are we sure this is Jayla though? She makes a much more mature impression in the UPN videos.
I agree, everyone who thinks she will be a bitch can go ahead and say so. I personally think it's mean to call someone a "bitch" before knowing who they are without enough things or resources to back it up. She's young and yes she's "kind of" immature but when I went to her myspace; I couldn't undertsand why people would precieve that as a "bitch." I have soooo many friends (girls) that make silly comments like that but they are totally different from that in person. But they (my friends) have so many different layers of friendship, sincerity, gratitude, integrity and they have a beautiful personality inside and they're very emotional; and they're all very ghetto cambodian/laos people lol. (I'm gettin' teary) Not saying that Jayla is like that but give her a chance before you guys step on her.
I don't care what you guys think but I'm gonna base my comments on their "model potential", and I'm leaving these comments about their personalities out until I see the show. Personally, no one really has the right to say this to a person because I totally think it is so close-minded and mean with all the "She says that..." or "she said this..." Everyone grew up differently and were brought up differently.
I'm just saying, I don't care but I know alot of people who is like Jayla. I am also a person who literally and seriously "smokes, drinks, curses like a sailor and I also don't go to church." Do you guys think I'm a bad person?I'm only 16 btw.
But I do respect everyone's opinion here. Let's just wait and see, but I'm being me and true to myself and being open-minded and as courteous as I can be right now because I know most of you disagree.
