I was a little annoyed with Michelle's comment about South Africa and it's fashion industry. She seemed genuinely shocked. I guess I can't be too upset with her...she didn't even know what "aloof" meant. A smart person (or someone with an ounce of common sense) could have figured out what the word meant based off how the judges said the word.

Anyhoo, I missed them announce who won "CG of the Week", but congrats to Naima. Plus, her photo was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I bet Tyra is kicking herself right now...

Kahlen was all like, "I see Black People." (sixth sense voice inflection). That chick is scared of everything - and she is incredibly judgmental. I know everyone on this board loves loves loves Kahlen - someone in one post was going on about the purity of her heart and how she touches people blah blah blah - she seems like a fine, normal girl. She's not America's Next Top Messiah - she is not mother theresa - she's just a chick who probably plays up her small-town-ness a bit for effect, makes some pretty funny comments, photographs well, DOES NOT look like Linda Evangelista as has been suggested, and shows detest for anything that has not been officially tested and approved by her. She strikes me as the kind of girl who will talk about another person for doing something until she tries it herself and realizes it's okay after all.

I like Kahlen, but I don't see the greatness that others here do.

I have mixed feelings about this episode of ANTM. On the one hand there was way too much Tyra. I have developed quite an antipathy for her during this season. When she is on I grab the remote.

On the other hand, we finally saw the end of Michelle. I still donít understand how she got into this competition. Obviously she wanted to win this, but I just could never see what qualities she had that people thought that she could be a model.

I used to think that Naima would win this competition, but her star seems to have fallen.

The best part of this season for me has been the growth of Kahlen. She has turned into quite a good model. I now have some hope that she may win. She seems to have gotten over all the grief that she was feeling in the last episode. Maybe they didnít show her talking about it, since it didnít fit into the theme of the episode. Still, she seems to be a sensitive person and I was surprised that she didnít show any signs of still grieving.

Last week, they had the models pose in a grave after Kahlen had found out that a friend had died. This weekís theme seemed to be Keenyahís gaining weight. Naturally they dressed them up as animals so that they would have an excuse to dress Keenyah as an elephant. I guess the producers of ANTM have never been introduced to the concept of subtlety. Maybe they should have a meet and greet for that.

"Ho couture" ? Was that supposed to be a double entendre, or is this a valid pronunciation? I can't believe she said that.

I think she needed the reality check cause she was getting way too conceited with the whole "Yoanna gained weight yet she still won anyway" comment.

Mary has got it going on. I think Mary would make a better ANTM than any of the girls. Mary for ANTM

I wonder if Mary is single. If so, she needs to look me up
Oh I wish I were an Os-car Mayer Wie - ner
That is what I'd tru-ly like to be

I thought it was so funny how Mr. Jay said "I personally chose the animals that I thought best represented you" and then later go on to say after he told Kennyah that she was the elephant "what a coincidence. first it was gluttony and then an elephant." to that I say HA! But I loved Naima's laugh when Keenyah was told she was the elephant. That laugh sounded a lot like mine.
