Episode 6 Photoshoot

Ummm, I dont know what the point of the shoot was.. I guess they wanted to go for the sexy wet t-shirt kinda look…

ITA. It was a dumb idea executed terribly. The bright sun in most of the pictures makes the "rain" look ridiculous, and the styling was hideous.

I mean just look at the preview for next weeks shoot, all the girls are feeling up, making out with some guy on a bed?.. That is just as bad.. I mean honestly, Tyra is a joke.. She was never high fashion and was never looking for a high fashion model from day one!

Once upon a time, she was pretty hot in Europe, but that was when she was a teenager.

At any rate, this cycle, along with the last, seems as though some UPN exec decided to do a few focus groups, and found out that their demographic wasn't terribly interested in fashion, but rather in rooting for their favorite pretty/sexy girl. It's really disappointing.

OMG, Michelle is in Tatiana's background and she's just LYING on the bench looking like one of the dead bodies they find on CSI. So funny!

I love Michelle lying in the background, personally.

Michelle does seem to very polarizing in terms of people's opinion of her. I love her. That said, I wasn't enamoured with her shot this week.

I love Michelle's pose in this shot. It has the same feel for me as Kahlen's astrological pose. I don't know how to explain it, except that it feels both static and dynamic at the same time.

I don't like her face in it too well, though.

Michelle seems to be THE model you either LOVE OR HATE. Hey, I think she rocks, but I like her uniqueness. Her eye makeup is too heavy in this shot, but I beg to differ on her position, I do like her body, and I think, of all the girls, she seems most aware on how her body appears to the camera. Check it out: All her shots: (Flowers, Zodiac, this one) whether or not you like her face, her body is well displayed to the camera... she looks long and lean. Her face is beautiful but more importantly, DISTINCTIVE. It will stand out in an ad... You will know it's her. I think THAT is what makes a top model

I don't really lover her or hate her. I do think she did a great job in previous shots though, especially the Astrological and Flowers shots. This gas station shot, though, ugh. Such an awful closeup, yet people love it, leaving me perplexed.

I do agree with you, however, that people's opinions are generally polarized. Those who LOVE a particular model also love every shot that model does, good or bad, and those who hate that model also tend to hate all of her pictures. It seems hard for people to seperate their emotion from a particular shoot to give an objective opinion of how that model actually performed.

Yea, Michelle's pose is strong but the face is questionable.. I wouldnt say its horrible but it seems a little sluggish and then on top of it, the makeup is too much.

I'm actually surprised they got a decent photo out of her this week, she seemed very dull during the shoot and Jay said they only got one good shot out of her, so I guess thats it.

I love Keenyah's photos so far, although this last one sucked and her personality is too ill-defined at present to declare love. Naima seems very sweet, has loads of potential, but her photos are just meh. So I (like to think) I'm objective. Michelle's astrological photo was good, but I haven't liked her others and think in person she is scary looking.

I guess I'm in the minority on this, but I think most of these photos are terrible. The rain surely helps, but still, they're just awful. Most of these girls are about as sexy as an elbow in this shot, and not one of those partially covered, saucy elbows with a hint of mystery, but a scabby one attatched to an 85 pound 17 year old boy.

LMAO...AMEN!! Those are my sentiments exactly. My bf's mother watched the show with me for the first time, and I was embarassed that that's what she saw....I kept feeling like I should explain "Well, it's usually better! I promise!!"

I understand the look they were going for, but for the love of God...THAT much make-up smudging is no longer "sexy", it's detrimental to the shot. (Case in Point: Michelle) There has to be mascara with a "smudge level" (lol), somewhere in the middle so she doesn't end up looking like death warmed over.

Wow-- Tatiana, in my view, knocked this one outta the proverbial park! A-freaking-mazing.

Is it just me or does REbecca in her closeup remind anyone of Christina Aguilera in a way? Just kinda--- posuerish. Not a bad picture by any means, just missing something...

Tiffany-- looks confused. Like someone just said "Hey, Tiff! Over here!"-- and she's like "Huh? Bitch poured rain on my weave!"...

The rest to me are kind meh....

Maybe it's my computer (but I don't think so), I find all the shots very hard to make out details. How can people see who is in the background? I can barely make out any shapes let alone say how fierce they are. All the shoots are given very dark backgrounds, and the girls full body shots blury...I've checked my contrast and brightness,and am on high speed connection... Maybe I need glasses
