OK someone said South Africa, and someone said Australia, and I just saw part of an article in USA Today talking about Adrianne Curry working in Australia and South Africa... so someone might be on to something... here's part of it:

<<Mok and Banks hope to make their winners true stars. The first top model, Adrianne Curry, has been working in South Africa and Australia. >>

Mok and Banks hope to make their winners true stars. The first top model, Adrianne Curry, has been working in South Africa and Australia. Banks means to change that this time around: "It's called America's Next Top Model, so we're going to put more emphasis on the winner doing American things."

New York City is definitely one of those high fashion destinations. So, I'm guessing an obviously answer, NYC? So, lately on that show with a totally obviously cheap budget and projects. You can honestly buy a huge warehouse in ghetto neighbor and put some cheap stuff to make it look super cool for cheap, rather than renting a real mansion somewhere on LA hills, know what I mean?

I can totally predict those girls read the card and be all like "WTF?! NYC?! I totally have been there before!"

They really need a good fashion designer to wear - i think it will upgrade the whole show. Like Galliano with his fabulous gaudiness or Lacroix (loving his Madonna Re-Invention tour corset) or Jean Paul Gauthier! It should be something different, none of these designers has never done before.
Moscow or St. Petersburg would be a good idea, i'm Russian and I'd be really proud - they have great buildings. But since the show was shot this past winter and Russia is really cold in winters, it probably didn't happen (but who knows, Tyra likes to challenge the girls). So, instead, some exotic country like Morocco, Tunisia or Turkey would be perfect! I'm envisioning them posing with the native people in villages or on the streets, etc.

Noooooo! I would like to go to N.Y., but I want the show to travel! I hope the cheap so and so's don't stay in the U.S. I thought it was a hoot last year seeing how they coped with Japan. Especially Ya-ya! Tears of laughter return to my eyes.

And yes, proper designers. Baby Phat indeed. Tyra's always on about high fashion, but we seem to get up and comings or wannabes. Heatherette? What the ?

Feh, maybe I'm too old. Takes me awhile to assimilate new information. Also new designers.

Well, we're not exactly a huge fashion destination are we? Also not enough of a culture shock. Also not flavour of the month right now with some Americans. (Good reason not to go to France, but reason to go to England). So I think Toronto is out. Not that it was ever in.
