If you want to display an avatar that you made, put it into your user profile. This thread was started to post avatars that anyone can use.

I couldn't since as I stated, when I tried to upload, the program said it was too big. (I attempted to animate it so I could show off all 5.) It doesn't say anywhere in this thread that the purpose of this thread was to make avatars for people. It just that some people posted their avatars because they wanted others to use them while others just posted their avatars because they wanted feedback.

Avatars are a feature of the site, and are resource hogs. There are good reasons for the limit on how large they can be. Why not switch between avatars every few days? It seems like a good compromise.

Yeah, it is. I'll probably do that.

I was looking at the posts so far, and even though most are "avatar giveaways" there are a handful that just want feedback. Afterall, if it was just a giveaway thread, why would people also post their non-avatar photos?
