It's almost fashion week!!! And you know what that means..? SHOW PACKAGES!!
One of my favorites right now is Chanel's from Ford.

Dumb question alert, y'all, but what is a show package? Like an updated portfolio?

A show (runway fashion show) package is a bunch of models that the agency selects to show to the potential clients (read designers/brands) in each season, every model who's selected receives a show card. Shannon for example, has been in Major's show package.

They do not select every model, they take just a few. Anyway, the model can still walk without having a spot on the agency's show package, it's harder for her to get shows though.

i think what she meant is the girl that has a eating disorder is usually very lost at first, and most of the times the girl keeps to herself instead of sharing with her family at the early stages, and a girl like this on the fashion industry gets completely lost, it's no ones fault really, but there are things that can "help" this situation to get to the ending point.

i strongly disagree, but you should look at the interview on cnn.com and form your own opinion
i don't believe it's anyone's fault either, but 90 pound models definitely don't help one's body image
eating disorders come from a want for perfection
my sister is a huge perfectionist, but it definitely was not an issue of my family not being there

The only thing I'm concerned about models on the runway these days is how lifeless they walk and pose; to me, it's not fashion.
They look dead and it's rather distracting. I understand it might be the model's individual look; but everyone can have passion in their eyes.
The only models I see with life and chic is Chanel Iman.
That's why I think they need some lessons with Miss J...
