hm.. im checking my local listings. She was on that show last season as well. hehe it was a rather long segment which is always a plus. I dont think i will be able to watch it. But record it.

Tyra didn't reveal much on Ellen. She has a shorter do now. Down to her shoulders. She said since she's going to be a talk show host, she thought she would try to look more the part. Still bright red though.

They showed a brief clip of Jennipher getting her haircut. Julie and Ann were watching in anticipation. Jennipher let out a little cry.

Ellen had the guy who amputated his arm in a climbing accident before Tyra, so she said in light of things (amputating arm), getting a little haircut shouldn't be all that bad.

I thought Tyra looked...I dunno...awkward? Her hair is short and red and she's gotten a bit chubby. I wonder why she sorta let herself go? I'd go nuts before I did anything like that; I'm such a health/exercise/muscle/thin freak. XD

She's trying to pattern herself after Oprah. There was an article in TV Guide saying that everytime she's on Oprah, the ratings for younger demos soar through the roof. That's one of the reasons why they're giving her her own talk show. They can see her becoming the heir apparent to Oprah, or at least an Oprah for the younger audience.

Hmmm...you know, that's a good point, and a clever idea from the poeple who are dealing with that. I never thought she might be doing it for reasons to be compared to Oprah. But that still doesn't justify the changes she's made because she just wants to be the next Oprah, in a nutshell. And that to me looks kind of shallow.

I'd like for Tyra to have her own show...as long as it's interesting. I think she's very nice and down to earth. She doesn't seem stuck up at all. I like that about her.

I actually liked the cut. It's much better than the red Morticia Adaams hair she's currently sporting on ANTM. It's still red (blech) but it's kind of cute.
