Anna - Ok you couldn't tell because it was only the first episode

Bethany - The boobs obviously

Heather- Looks to young (but I am not sure if they said it in the beggining)

Jenascia - To short, and doesn't give something to replace it

Xiomara - They didn't give us any reason, well except for doing bad

Catie - Whiner

Sara - They started pulling the two sexy thing.


So here are my predictions

April - will not win because she hasn't established herself as a japanese or american model

Mercedes - is to commercial and not enough high fashion

Yoanna - can do everything, but they might bother her about the body

Shandi - Too High Fashion, not enough commercial.


Remember, last year Shannon lost because she wasn't edgy enough. They do the same things every year. Yoanna or April (if she does better) because they have little to bother them about. Shandi is too much one side, Mercedes is too much the other.

Mattio I agree, I been trying to tell people that. Shandi is High Fashion and that only. Mercedes is Commerical and that only. Yoanna and April are the most versatile. But Yoanna's body compared to April's is a travesty. Sorry for the harsh comment but it is the truth. You can't expect to just lose weight by what you eat; you have to exercise also to get rid of the excess fat left over.

The judges (Janice especially) made it a point that she needs to embrace her ethnicity. In the Janice interview April was almost rude that was an American.. all the sudden after that she's half Japanese and Welsh, Irish and something on her fathers side. You can't deny all your life that you’re Japanese and do a turnaround like that. She should be proud of her culture, she's a beautiful girl.. but much too competitive and driven to the point of obsession which isn't healthy for her.

Hey I'm not tyra banks, I don't decide who she is going to pick, but it seems that she was bothered for that. Notice how all the brazillian models say they are brazillian. Black models say they are black. I ment to say choose between caucasion and japanese, sorry wrong words.

she didn't deny her asian roots- she was jsut aware that she wasn't raised in an environment that was completly in tune with her asian side. come on, look at her bio and read what her favorite food is... its not as though she knows NOTHING about her japanese heritage. IMHO that episode showed that april didn't want to be labled as the token asian, who will win only because she is asian instead of the fact that she takes beautiful photos regaurdless of her ethnicity. not to say that her asian features don't make her unique.

yada yada yada, there was an earlier post about how april shouldn't win because she is asian... then they compared her to other "asian" standouts in teh porn industry who are only recognized because of their ethnicity. its almost liek saying michelle kwan is only recognized because she's asian and not because she's an uber talented tripple jumping woman on skates. If april wins, she doesn't want it to be that she wins because she's asian, but because she is a damn kick ass model who takes good pics and works hard.

again with the obsessive winning thing. maybe april really wants to win because she really wants to be a model? is that so implausible? i guess working hard and being driven are bad things.

i think April rightfully sees herself as a beautiful WOMAN above anything else .....i'm guessing she's felt that way for a long time, probably from early teens til now. imho white America subconsciously frowns upon that because white America often times gets ssssooooo caught up in 'knowing' what a person is, like Wow, she looks great. She's from where? Venezuela?? Cool. I've heard from white friends that whites themselves often microscope each other within the context of "whiteness" Like Yeah, Kevin is mainly Irish but has at least one Dutch ancestor
