There was an article in the New York Times Style section today (Sunday) about bars in New York where you can go play Guitar Hero karaoke. Anyhow, they had a picture of Shandi rocking out at Piano. She had red lipstick on and for some reason she had a line of it drawn out from her lips across her cheeks. She was mentioned in the article as well. They referred to her as a former ANTM contestant and said she was a regular at Piano. She talked about how she discovered Guitar Hero at a friend's and bought the playstation version to practice. She loves to dress up and play different rockers but she loves heavy metal the best. She also said she couldn't wait until they got a 1980's version of the game as the '80s are her life.
I'm just happy that MTV is showing Cycle 2. Shandi was one of my all time faves on the show. I really wish she would've at least made it to the runway show. Her pictures were great. My faves were the Hanging by cords [the one where katie cried] and the Rome looking one [she had big hair]
Hey all...I'm new here and just wanted to pop in to give a shout out to all my fellow Shandi aficionados. Holla peeps, what's good? Love, love, love how adeptly she transformed from gawky and mousy to adroit and ravishing. À mon avis, one of the most striking transformations of any contestant during the show's entire run.
I loves me some Shandi and wish her happiness and peace no matter what she decides to do with her life. I still need to do some catching up on this thread, but I'm a bit shocked at all the nastiness some spew on Kahlen's thread...hope that's not the case here.
