Same here, and as I say, sorry, (going by hype here, not bad acts) but Turf and Tim Hockenberry for me are not good enough to be the winners of this show.

We're going to lose many good talented acts this year as it is - it would be another Prince Poppycock/Jackie Evancho losing to a subpar singer travesty if we have a few of these acts win over good ones.

Well as you said, NBC is at the bottom of the heap in terms of viewership. The Olympics bring in HUUUUGE ratings and advertising dollars. AGT has also excellent ratings especially for a summer show, pulling in 8-10 million viewers for their Tuesday performance shows. It makes financial sense to keep AGT but they had to miss 2 weeks of shows, that's why there is no top 10. (CBS is #1 but their big summer show BB is only bringing in an average of 6 million viewers.) NBC just can't add the two missed shows and delay their new fall schedule.

I think it just really sucks because the talent this year has been top notch, varied and not as many singers as in years past.

Turf may have his sob story but I don't think he will make it past tonight. It would definitely be a travesty if he makes it over the others he competed against last night. I like the kid, hope he gets a gig but I don't think he is as popular as you and Johnny think. If anything, I'm worried about that Edon kid. The screams in that auditorium and the fact that he sang a One Direction song may have the tweenagers voting like mad. I hope not.

Edon impressed me more earlier on in the season.

Outside I have a mad exterior, but inside I'm squealing. I must be mean, but is this for real? Turf really is gone?

omg I really hope there isn't some twist at the end where they bring Turf back and say "We were just kidding you're in you win!"

But if it's for real, great. I was devastated by the elimination of the Scott Brothers, but they took Turf with them so it's all good.

So far the three in the top four are Joe Castillo, William Close, and Todd Oliver (ugh), and those that also got eliminated were Andrew, Academy of Villains, Edon, Donovan & Rebecca.

Tom took the last spot in the top 4 over Dittelman and Bria.

So the top four are: William Close, Joe Castillo, Todd Oliver, and Tom Cotter.

I want Close, Castillo, and Cotter to make it.

Close and Cotter are in the Final!

Now the judges will decide between Castillo and Oliver. So I guess they placed 3rd and 4th.

Castillo's through with Howie and Sharon's votes!

I'm surprised Todd made it this far, though. Good for him.

Your wish was granted, Johnnypedia. Are you doing the happy dance?

I was surprised at Todd Oliver making it over Rebekah and Donovan, but am happy with the results. YAY!!

Nah no happy dance. But I'm still as glad as I can be. Scott Brothers, Andrew, and Rebonovan were sad eliminations.

I think the fact that Castillo placed third is a guarantee that he won't win. Top 6 is very great, though.
