Well this last guy is cool. Like an American Greg Pritchard (BGT fans would know who I'm talking about).

Well I didn't necessarily think he was lying, I just didn't want the same thing happening all the time.

If it is true then I guess this shows three things.

    1. Don't believe every sob story that comes on these shows.

    2. If the story seems too good to be true, it probably is.

    3. If he had gotten away with it, he would have been a genius, as he probably knows what the voters on these shows are like and what they fall for.

What is it with the Tims this season? First Tim Hockenberry is apparently already a success, and now this.

Can I root against him now?

(note, as it's a controversy, I will maintain that it's innocent unless they show the actual records).

I'm going to be honest, if this is indeed true in regard to the rumor, then he should be disqualified because he is essentially lying in his application/auditions. If Frenchie on "American Idol" can be disqualified for posing in lingerie for an ad, then this guy can for lying about doing something in the military that he didn't.

That said, it probably isn't in the rules, and sadly this may not get enough attention he may go further in spite of the controversy.

Regardless, I find it tacky and tasteless given we have a. many varied and wonderful acts (and yes, I include some very strong singers too), and b. we have many veterans who have been wounded and killed doing stuff he claims he's done.

His military service is true, though. Because these fraud claims came from people that served with him. In the article on the site I posted there are direct quotes.

Well I had an argument going for his winning AGT, but if that rumour is true, that is disgraceful. Also disrespectful to all members of the military who have been legitimately injured during a war. Is that his story or one created by producers of the show? I guess time will tell.
