Meh. The band's act, not really my thing.
The band was different than the ones we usually hear. So it's good they got another chance. :up
I liked Burton, though. Glad he went through but I don't think he's going to last much longer.
Darnit, there is just too many shows on Monday night.
I saw the dog act and they were very impressive. Got to wonder what more they can do.
Caught a little bit of that "nut job" My teen age son thought that was just crazy, for once we agree!
I'll try to catch the show tomorrow.
See? I told ya Howard's just a big ol' pussy cat! You should hear some of the stories his wife tells about him.
Howard Stern thanks a seal
What ya gonna do??
First of all, why was it Howard who was so contrite about the kid crying? The kid didn't breakdown until Sharon X'd him but Sharon didn't seem nearly as upset about it. It was strange.
Second,Pretend I never heard it.Quote:
What ya gonna do??
Third, Howard does understand that as nice as it is to thank a seal... it actually doesn't get it? If he had brought a fish, however....
Catching up with last night's show...only about half way through, but that little rapper is why I wish they had age limits for these shows. I realize grown adults have tantrums and break down, but nothing was more heartbreaking than watching him get Xed and start to cry. And he was up there all alone, which I think takes a lot of courage. I think worse rap acts have gotten through, namely those 3 little boys last season (they were adorable, and aroudn 5-6), but I don't remember them being any better. Sharon was right that they shouldn't build up false hopes and Howard is right that they need to be fair.
I liked the basketball act that went first, but I sort of agreed with Howie that they weren't really original. The show's had better, but I'm glad they went through, and hopefully have something better planned. Wish we could have seen more of the Irish step dancing group.
Watching the dog act now. Not that I'd want to take my cats or pom on the road with me, but I wish they'd do something besides eat, sleep, bark, and scratch :lol That was really good.
The metal duet <3
So sorry I'm getting to the party late. I watch The Bachelorette on Mondays, and on Tuesdays I have church, so I don't get to watch this show until later in the week. :(
The basketball act was pretty good, but once again, I agree that it's something other groups do so it's not really original.
I thought it was cruel of Howard to buzz the little kid. I do agree, however, that the kid had no talent and no chance of going through. I think it was disgusting that his mother would let him do that. I also totally agree about age limits for these talent shows. That totally turned me off The X-Factor, watching those kids have tantrums and cry when they were eliminated. :barf And yes, it's irritating when an adult who should know better has a tantrum. To watch a kid who has no experience of the world get their first taste of reality on national television, though, is almost a little like porn, IMHO.
The dogs were so cute! :dog
You'll have to refresh my memory as to who "nut guy" is. BTW, thank you Johnny and Recapper's Delight for helping me. I find it hard enough trying to keep track of all the men on TBette, let alone the acts on this show. :confused
That band, didn't like them at all. I didn't think they were original, I thought they were a hot mess.
