Anyone else watching Howard's debut? And whether they'll continue the trend of crowning singers or go for more variety acts this year.

First act up was a stripper/magician. Howard was actually pretty funny. He didn't get through.

We must be getting to someone good here soon. No one's made it through yet (rightfully so).

I'm not entirely sure what that last guy who finally made it through was playing, but it was different. I liked him

Loved the dance troupe that made it through. I'd love to see a dance act finally win. They need to put more variety acts through over singers. Maybe that'll give them a chance.

And I love Nick Cannon. I'm enjoying Howard, despite thinking he crossed the line with the guy whose parents died. Other than that, I think he'd been tame and fun.

I keep being cut in and out so I'm missing a bit of the show. Later I'll have to watch the full thing.

Right now though I'm able to see the father/daughter.

That father/daughter were too cute And talented. Glad they made it through.

They did a montage of acts so I don't think you missed much. I saw a rapper, a little girl aerialist, and I think another dance act make it through.

So far I've liked the 3 acts who made it through.

Judges got stuck in the elevator in St. Louis. I'm guessing the audition phase will be shorter to coincide with the Olympics. Howard tried to trample Howie's mother getting out That's why I hate using elevators.
