How are you coming to this conclusion?

I'm sure each of the four finalists can get mass production. The question is mainly the $1m prize. And maybe an advertising advantage, not that it will probably be bigger than having Jerry Rice on your box and possibly in your commercials.

The "losers" will have to accept investors as partners, that's all. The $1m winner might not have to accept partners (well, unless ABC and Simon Cowell get an automatic free piece of the action...)

I'm not a teacher but I used to cover education for a small newspaper.

I think coaches would really be willing to try the catch training device, but they're already having to look at their kids and tell 'em they have to buy their own pads and jerseys and helmets and stuff ... .

I said "I guess."

Because they announced that Francisco will get a chance to develop his product with his internship and we didn't get anything but a vague statement of support from Jerry Rice about Eric.

And just now, a Hasboro VP has committed to trying to get Word Ace on store shelves, so ... it's the lack of any such statement re: Eric's device that leads me to "guess."

We'll have to see!

Well, I can't speak about every school or even authoritively on percentages; but around here some student-atheletes have to buy all their equipment. Some schools around here have even CUT some of their sports.

So who thinks "We'd like you to use our research facility." is just another way of saying, "We'd like to steal your invention."? Does everyone on the show already have a patent for their inventions?
