What did the wife mutter to her husband after he made it through? My husband and I both thought she said something slightly snarky to him about holding the baby. I think it was once they had left the stage area, and were outside the room where he was hugging her.

It was rather mean, and about how the judges said the baby was a distraction. She did not take it well.

He is another worship leader who have become common during auditions, so he should have a fair voice. I don't know if she also sings in the church, but I found her voice weak, her song one note and the ukulele distracting. Maybe she was just embarrassed.

They did put through a couple of quirky ones including the rural girl who carried her cello on a guitar strap as if she was in a marching band. I did like her rhythms, though. I, too, liked the girl from MA. She kept it simple and has a clear voice. The bass guy singing Johnny Cash was all right. However, can he sing up in order to blend for group numbers?

Another night, tonight. So far, not boring.

Yea she said they were distracted by him dancing with the baby, kinda blaming it on him, but she was upset so I hope she doesn't really blame him.

She did, she said he was dancing around with the baby..that wasn't true that we saw..OTOH, I wonder who they choose as a wild card..

She reminded me of a very young Britney Spears, with a better voice. That little pink ukulele was distraction enough

I forgot it was on.... is the last season looking good at all? Apparently this was the worst premiere its had since Season One.

Anything to report from Tuesday's auditions? This west-coaster is curious.
