If anyone wants a laugh, search YouTube for the video of the Davids visiting the Love Guru. Besides the Love Guru telling Archie "soon you'll grow hair in weird and wonderful places"

at the end, when DC is having an impromptu shaving session... notice how Archie catches the shaving cream that falls of DC's face! I don't know why, but that struck me as funny.

I know..thought that was funny also. While I'm not that big a fan of David A I like how David C seemed to have taken him under his wing like a big brother.

Another David A/David C interview I enjoyed was done at an outdoor venue around the time Amanda left the show. Cook was telling the interviewer that Archie has a very wry, british - Hugh Grant kind of humor and it cracks him up. Apparently Archie made a joke during Amanda's goodbye dinner that still had Cook chuckling. Archie then deadpans, "But, I wouldn't say that to her face." Funny stuff...those two should take it on the road - oh, wait, they will!

Now, if Archie can take his first album in the direction of his performance on Finale night, he will gain a much larger audience than the 'tweens. I'm really hoping the "right" things happen for him musically and in his life.

That love guru trailer is the most un-funniest trailer since...I can't remember. I don't know but watching Mike Meyers resort to dumb jokes just make me cringe.

There was an interview on American Idol extra, where David sees friends in the audience near the beginning and he almost screams OMIGOSH ASHLEY! - if anyone finds this interview as enjoyable as I did - to me that's David Archuleta, a young man who is going to go a long way.

I highly doubt it. I think he's terrible and can't sing at all and I really don't like his personality. Everyone I know INCLUDING my tween neices feel exactly the same way.

The kid can sing....I'll give him that....but his insecurity when not singing is painful. When I saw him with the other Idols on Larry King, I couldn't believe he had as much public exposure as he has had. He smiles, giggles and says inconsequential things. All the others showed him up. Larry had to even remind him to sing along with them at the end. Lucky for all, that David Cook is the American Idol.
