| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 I read today that Mark Burnett wants to bring back Rock Star for a third season. Too bad she didn't wait for that. I think the younger kids in the audience are going to miss the point entirely. |

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 From what we've seen so far, she's good at her kind of music, but it's hard to imagine a worse fit for the show.

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 I agree, I don't see her as a popular viewer favorite for this show. She's not bad but I don't think she'll score lots of votes. |

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 One of my favorites this season But I agree, I don't think she's going to go over well with the viewing audience with her style and her voice. |

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 Shame she's not Canadian as there always seems to be an eclectic group make the final stages on Canadian Idol. I liked her voice, but the gravelly nature might wear on me after a while. If she does last in the competition I'll be interested to see how she adapts to the different weekly themes and whether she'll be able to work out some arrangements that suit her voice.

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 Wow, i think you guys are totally underestimating how well she will do. She is definitely going to make a mark. I predict at least top 12.

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 She is good, her voice is very husky, sandy. Needs to change it up like Simon has said. |

| Re: Amanda L. Overmyer - Season 7 I like this girl, she has great voice and she is a great singer. But I'm still a bit afraid how she's gonna do in this competition as she might not be the most versatile singer out there. She definitely needs to change it up a little if she wants to succeed. |
