I'm thinking that his years in the industry have made him realize that praise is hard to come by, so he is more appreciative of it when he receives it.

I agree, I too like his humbleness and appreciation of the band and judges and those fans who vote for him. He should do very well after Idol!!!!

Yes.....Adam is not arrogant (think Gokey if you want arrogance tee hee)

I love the way Adam has paid tribute to Smokey and has praised the band....he is humble...talented...and the real deal. I really just like listening to his exciting performances.
