I thought Amanda was awesome last night. She sounds so much like Janis Joplin. She was back last night and we actually got a smile or two out of her! Well done!

I don't even like her but I thought she was great last night! She and Chikeze were the most unique and the best! The two I never thought would make it this far...I'm so glad they did!

Amanda did very nice this week.

I don't like her scarves though. I get so distracted by them; they make me think of Hannah Montana (not a good comparison!)

Here is how I see her.

She is like the singer who has a 3 hour gig, in a bar or pub one night.
What she did was like the kind of song that would be buried somewhere in those 3 hours.
Totally indistinguishable, nothing that would make me raise my arm, to turn up the volume.
Just some noise that comes and goes, on a drunken beer filled night.

Just good enough to be the local hero.

I'm tired of her yelling.

She isn't close to a Pat Benetar or Joan Jett sound.

That's because she has a Janis Joplin-like sound. Janis Joplin sounds entirely different from Benatar and Jett.
