I read somewhere on here that they are $12.00 each. As friendly as they all seem, I suspect that they can make arrangements for you to pay with a check. If they can't, get back to me with a pm. We'll work out something.

Ya'll really are like the nicest people ever! Thank u so much for the pms and msgs i just got! Im actually teary eyed over the generousity and love that comes from Clay fans. If he can inspire ths much love now imagine when he wins. He is EXACTLY what this world needs right now. And if Simon and other can't see that they are just blind. Plain and simple. Bw can i ask what is on the 1st CD?? I saw the list of whats ont he 2nd one but has anyone posted what the first one is. Id like to post about it on Idol Obsession so that others can order and we can raise more money for Clays charities.

I have to tell you guys that thanks to kkelly, I have received a copy of Clay's 2nd CD already. Clay hasn't pulled out all the stops yet on AI2. When you listen to "Unchained Melody", you'll see what I mean. His accent gets away from him in a couple of spots, but overall, WOW.

The other thing to remember as you listen to this is that this CD was made before AI2. I think Clay has really matured as a singer just since the show started, and I suspect he could easily outdo himself on most of these songs at this point in time.

Lily,

I haven't seen the 1st CD or a listing anywhere. I'm waiting for my copy.

Hey aikenfan,

you're welcome! And welcome to the young-at-heart senior club - LOL -

I just noticed that you're from AZ! That's where my husband is from - I met him in my home country while he was stationed there.

Anyway, just so this stays on topic - I LOOOVE CLAY!!!

I was thinking this morning, after I had purchased Clay’s CD- that I can easily download all of his songs (just about all of his songs) via the Internet and in fact I have done so – so why buy a CD?

My reason for doing so was simple. I appreciated the fact that the proceeds go to a worthy cause. I appreciate that Clay has decided to donate the money to this cause.

Which got me thinking about this whole American Idol thing.

What are we asking for in an American Idol? It seems obvious what the music industry wants – they want what the public has wanted, what sells records and brings them the big bucks. I personally am tired of the belly button, can’t sing, marketed to the teeth teenyboppers who provide no moral inspiration to the youths or even adults of this nation. Someone posted that Clay was the type of person she would want her daughter to idolize, someone caring and who generates respect. Someone with Character.

Character is a word not used or emphasized enough in our society. Character is more than a Saturday morning show.

I bought the CD because I wanted to support something more than my interest in Clay or his music. I want to support an “Idol” that represents something higher than him. I like the idea that there is someone whose fans, especially young fans, can look up to and say “I want to be like him!” Spreading more kindness instead of harsh words. Concentrating on the inner beauty not the artificial.

This is more than just who wins the contest. It is about generations coming together and demanding more. It is, I hope, the start of a new type of American Idol and something that goes beyond Clay.

For all those that have bought his CD when you could have downloaded the information, congrats!
If you can’t afford the CD and have to get your Clay on – then get it on! Download your little heart out.

I would like to send the message out, and if you agree with me carry it with you – support substance and let’s show it by buying his CD. Know that it goes to a good cause and maybe an expanding cause in the long run.

Also, I’d like to encourage people to buy the AI “Love song” CD as it supports this board that we get to use for free. Pass the good along.

Radio station playing Clay’s CD. Perhaps they will promote the CD as well.

Love Song CD that supports this thread.
