I don't really care for her either. I thought she did well last week, but this week, I thought she sounded out of breath for most of the song. I posted this on the spoiler thread, too, but it seemed like she would get out of breath, let the backup singers take over and then pick back up. It was really distracting for me.

I don't know that you can equate Jessica's popularity with the number of pages on this message board.

I happen to think Jessica's a fabulous, strong singer, but she simply isn't controversial enough to warrant my having posted for her yet.

I think she reminds me a great deal of Natalie Maines from The Dixie Chicks.

About the worst I could say about her is the fact that her lack of a neck distracts me.

Don't you think she should have covered up her booty a tad last night? I mean, it was distracting. She is a fine singer, but even Simon was speechless (distracted?).

She's got a powerful voice though. Nadia, Jessica, and Anwar are my three top picks, though not necessarily in that order.

Nadia's been my favorite since the auditions -- but boy, is Jessica coming up from the behind or what? She's like a racehorse, coming up on the inside to take the lead.....could be a photo finish! She can sing, that's for sure!

After Simon made that comment about her outfit, she actually did cover up. Dureint the "vote for Jessica' segment she was tugging her jacket to cover more, and during the last show where Ryan talks and all the contestants stand behind him, Jessica made sure she was in profile, and she was still tugging at her jacket trying to cover up. It was uncomfotable to watch, and I think she was embarrased.

I really enjoyed her performance, but she needs to work on her wardrobe. Her outfit last night looked a little skanky.

funny thing abt her is that she reminds me of Diana from AI3 (not singing related)...
she was shown a couple of times during the Hollywood auditions...she looked great...

this past few weeks...man...looks like she's blown out...of coz wearing that outfit didn't help me think otherwise...

I know it doesn't really matter, but I'm sure Diana blew out a bit during the final12 weeks as well...

Lucky for her, she had the luxury of performing last the night before. People remembered her more than Amanda & Mikalah. Amanda also has only 2 or 3 pages. Mikalah's thread is mostly people hating her so she's got plenty of pages but she was in the bottom 3 with Janay and Amanda. Nikko who also has only 2 or 3 pages in his thread did not have the luxury of performing last, unfortunately, his consistent performance is not enough to topple Scott's (who performed first) fanbase. The forum may be a small sampling of a constestant's popularity (or unpopularity in the case of Mikalah) but it gives one a general idea where each contestant fall. You can gauge which half they stand (top half or bottom half).

I just saw Jessica on an old Star Search. She did Independence Day by Martina, she won her first round but lost to the winners circle champion.

I think there's something really annoying in Jessica, I don't know why but she's some kind of trashy and reminds me a lot about Courtney Love. She has a great voice though but I just don't like her.
