I thought that the red head girl was so much better. My guess is that matt will be either the first or second person out in the next round. He just isnt good enough compared to the other singers.

I thought that camille looked and acted stoned. When Ryan was talking to her and at the end of the show when they were all on the stage together she just looked to be stoned, not stagestruck or anything else just stoned. i was surprised that she made it to the top two. I really didnt think she was that good. jmho

Wasn't she sick? Which of course shouldn't be used as an excuse, like Kara Master did, but perhaps that's why her voice was extra scratchy?

Great job, Lobeck. Let's hope they call back Lisa for the wildcard show. She needs to be in the top 12.

i wrote this in another post, but yes, camille was sick. in one of our local papers (hawai`i), it said that camille had a fever and sore throat and left to california with antibiotics.

re: the results...being from hawai`i, i'm thrilled that camille made it through! i think she has a uniqueness to her voice that's really nice. in contrast to a couple of other posts, i'm not sick of her crying...i think that was just her way of dealing with her happiness and being overwhelmed with emotion. i like that she displays humility and doesn't have to be all loud, cocky, and in your face like some others think they need to be. she's truly grateful for her opportunity. i like the fact that she's not all "made-up" and has a sense of natural beauty about her. love her for that too. do i think she's a lauryn hill? uh, no, i don't think so...but i do like her sound and hope that she continues to grow and blossom. congrats to camille!

matt...okay, i am NOT cheering for him and am very disappointed he made it through. am i surprised? no. i had a feeling that he was going to get that middle america vote. (which i am fearing will take him far in the final 12) from day one he turned me off with his comment about thinking he deserved to be an american idol because "he is from here." what the h*** is that supposed to mean? what a total slam and insult that was to the people of color who were auditioning (what he was alluding to). talk about racist! unless he's native american, he needs to shut his trap about "being from here." wanting simon's head to bleed? yeah, great american idol. re: his singing...he just wasn't up to par on tues. night. where is george huff?!!!!!!!!!

i am surprised that lisa didn't make it through. i really thought she did well on tues. she pulled off a hard song to sing and she had good stage presence. i like that she is happy with herself...i am disappointed with her not advancing.

after this weeks group...i'm really hoping for more next week. i also think that we may have a really, really exciting wild card show.

I was happy that Camile made it but I'm surprised that you are slamming Matt like you are - don't you think he was set up by Ryan for that Simpson spot that simon in doing a guest shot for - come on - it was a set up that Matt fell into and it almost back-fired big time on Matt if you ask me - look what you wrote ... Camile could go a long way or she could be the first one off - she has to show that she has what it takes now to be a star - she has to blossom - will she have it or not??? .... I hope so but if not ...she did well to at least get to where she got.... Yes she was sick but her performance has to pick up to compete for the top prize each week!

Ummm... when he said he was from "here", he meant California. He auditioned in California and is from California. Breath.

(And as for Jesus getting more votes? I know lots of people who were looking forward to the posters and slogans. "Go Jesus!" "Sing the bejesus out of it!" "Jesus saves (motown)!", etc.
