I'm lovin' this guy. I like Chris D., no doubt, but there is something that David C. has that I find incredibly sexy. And he sings and performs very well. I'm lovin' it.

I downloaded his studio recording of Eleanor Rigby and have been running it on repeat for the longest time (in addition to Brooke's Let It Be and Jason's If I Fell! TPTB really took too long to capitalize on this.)

Yes it is a absolute shame we don't have studio recordings of contestants from other seasons...I would love to have some of them!

David C. has surprised me, in a very pleasant way. At the beginning, I would have never expected him to be blowing Michael Johns away, but at this point he's head & shoulders above him. Really heard the OLP influence in his Eleanor Rigby cover, and that's not a bad thing.

I actually did download studio versions of songs from last season. Melinda sounds wonderful in the studio.

there's some "controversy" going around on blogs about david supposedly ripping off the arrangement of eleanor rigby. the complaint is being made by some myspace band with less than 20 k in fans.

: the arrangement is similar but not the same. the band's manager claims that this is a song the band is most known for, which is pretty sad considering its a cover.

this reminds me of the chris daughtry scandal regarding his walk the line cover that he ripped off of the band Live. If that didn't turn into much then i doubt this will considering Live is much more well known than this myspace band.

I love this guy.

He's got such a sexy voice! He's very musical, and they make the best singers, IMO. Hope he goes far.
