I got his cd, it is very good. Only 2 songs I didn't care for. His voice is great, this young man has a very bright future.

Oh... David Archuleta is such a great singer and a nice young man. Seriously. He tried to please all his fans and he seems to be enjoying his time with his career and gosh... He's such a sweetheart. I love his songs... My favorites are Crush, A little too not over you and Angel. Such great songs for his voice!

David Archuleta is scheduled to appear on American Idol in May, according to an interview he did with The Sun newspaper in Malaysia.

Also, on the 16th of May, David A. is doing a joint concert with David Cook in Malaysia.

Rascal, who ran the site NotingDavid has joined a new site that started up this week called The David Chronicles. This is not a teenybopper fan site. It has throughtful articles and analysis of David's work. Thought some fans might like it.

According to MJ's Blog, there has been a schedule change and David Archuleta will perform on the Idol results show next week:

I’m hearing that David Archuleta is scheduled to perform on next week’s Top 6 results show.

Apparently, he was scheduled to appear on Idol during Top 3 results show, when he had a break in the schedule between his tour of the UK with the Brit band McFly and his Manila show with David Cook.

But, sometime last week there was a change.

The new plan is to have Archie appear next week on the Top 6 results show, with Jordin Sparks now set to premiere a new single during the Top 3 results show instead.

Unfortunately, David will have to cancel two of his opening shows in the UK to clear his schedule for next Wednesday. But it’s totally worth it! That Idol promotion is good stuff. Just ask David Cook who more than doubled the sales of his album David Cook, in the week after his Idol appearance…

Midvale police cited 47-year-old James J. Archuleta on Jan. 14 at a massage parlor called Queens Reiki, 7350 S. State Street, said Sgt. John Salazar.

Police had been investigating the business for several days after patients at a nearby doctor's office complained, Salazar said.

The business was cited for operating without a license and Archuleta was given a citation for solicitation of prostitution "because he was sexually gratified by one of the masseuse girls," Salazar said. The masseuse was also cited.

Midvale Justice Court records show that Archuleta took a no contest plea in abeyance on Jan. 30. He paid a $582 court fee and completed a counseling class. The case will be dismissed at the end of the month if he doesn't repeat the crime.

Archuleta was the American Idol runner-up in 2008.

I wonder why this is only coming out now? It was on the news here (Salt Lake) last night, and they didn't say anything about it having happened almost six months ago.

It's strange that they were able to keep it quiet for so long, and it's strange that it's been made public now.

I agree that his dad is a weenie. Poor David!
