David Archuleta - Season 7 - Page 32

I kinda liked his performance this week, even though it was a bit cheesy and he did hit some bad notes. But I liked that this time he kept it simple and didn't do those unnecessary runs and melody changes.

I think David peaked too early... He's not getting better each week.. That's not how you win this competition.

I like David A and hope he does better next week. I love his voice, it's so pure.

I don't think David A. is going to win this year.

His voice is very "foggy" and leans to being flat on more than one occasion. Too many bad notes last night. His last few performances should put him in the bottom 3, but the teeny-boppers will prevent that. I was hoping this year would be about talent, not popularity.

Some one must have told him about his breathing into the mic so much like he does. Its terrible! But last night was better. I do agree that it was a little "Theme Park" but who cares. Why dont they just judge on the singing, whatever song it is

They should be judging on the entire package - vocals, performance and marketability. If they are marketing a theme park performer, then that performance was spectacular.

well David's dad did him no favours with that song choice, but still David did fairly well with the song IMO.
