He's good, and polished, but I so don't care for his style/song choices... not anyone I'd buy a record (age check - CD) of. Too "pop" for my tastes BY FAR.

That said, I'm sure he'll be top 5.

I agree that Mario is far superior vocally, but I do see a resemblance to Guarini in his confidence and ability to draw the crowd in.

I didn't see it at first, but I completely agree now. He's got that same attitude that Justin had, that kind of hammy confidence when they smile knowing that all the girls are getting slippery in their chairs. Justin seemed a little more likeable to me, though Mario has a far stronger voice.

I don't see that in him at all. He seems very humble to me... Based on comments he's made he seems to know that he could be voted out at any time.

What I said is based mostly on the way he carries himself and reacts to the crowd and the judges comments. I agree with you RealVoyeur that all the candid comments he's made show no sign of arrogance. And he seems extremely supportive of the other contestants, which is a big plus in my book.
