Awesome, awesome, awesome. He's my pick to win the whole thing. Great voice, great personality, a good story behind him, he knows how to work the stage, and who can resist that smile?

maybe its just me, but he really puts off the imagel ike he thinks he's Gods gift :-\ thats totally a turn off to his voice which is just "okay" to me to begin with.

And wow, he's MUCH better than Justin Guarini and RJ Helton!

as for that, all i can do is laugh. REALLY hard. there is no way in HELL Mario's voice is better than RJ's. Justins, okay I'll give you that. But you obviously haven't heard RJ's CD or there's no way that would be said. RJ is one of the most amazing talents ever to come out of AI... next to Kelly. Even she says he's the most talented person who's been on AI that didn't win. And he is. He's absolutely amazing. And I love him with alla my heart!!

As for Mario, i just hope he cleans up his act. I want to like him, i really do. but i just cant because of the "im better than all of you" image he puts off. He is a little hottie, though.

and here i was thinking that Jai from Queer Eye was too old for american idol........

I think he'll definitely make the top 12, but I don't care for him so far. He seems a little too packaged for me, too put together, too smooth. Yes, I know that probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but he just seems "overly done" to me.

In a way, he makes me think of Diana Degarmo...can a guy be "pageant-y"? With that, I mean that he knows all of the requirements, every move he must make....but seems a little like he's going through the motions. Although, I DO think he can sing. I want him to stay for a while (and I know he will) because I want to see him do the different types of songs. I do hope he loses the hats, though...or at the very least, doesn't wear a hat EVERY time.

I like the hats! But I remember that he didn't wear one durring the first hollywood audition.

I think Mario has a much better voice than RJ. I'm judging by live performances, which I think is fairer than comparing how someone sounds on a CD.
