| Mario so far is my favorite! I looove his voice... I think it's probably the best in the competition. And wow, he's MUCH better than Justin Guarini and RJ Helton! |

| I think he might be able to take this competition. An all around likable guy with talent. My boss loves him and has already vowed to buy his cd. ![]() |

| I don't think that he physically resembles Justin, but the same charisma certainly is there. Whether or not you liked/appreciated Justin Guarini, the guy had an undeniable charisma from the first audition on the first show when he sang "Get Here" in NYC. Mario has that same chemistry with the music and the audience, although I feel it will hurt him in terms of Simon's responses to him. Although Paula remains great friends with Justin, Simon detests him. He is not mature or professional enough to keep his hatred of Justin to himself -- he'll take it out on Mario Vasquez...mark my word! ![]() |

| I was impressed yesterday. I liked the energy of his performance. This is the kind of performance I think JPL was shooting for last season, the crowd was engagaed and loving it, not laughing at the silly little guy doing a silly little dance. I actually am reminded of Guarini when I look at this guy. I agree that Mario is far superior vocally, but I do see a resemblance to Guarini in his confidence and ability to draw the crowd in. | |

| He reminds me of Justin Timberlake in his manorisms. I think Simon said it perfectly, one of the best performances of the night, but not the best voice. |

| I thought his performance was the best of the night (entertainment wise, not vocally). He is very entertaining. Definite Crowd pleaser.
