sorta getting late into this thread, lol, but i think what mario did was a pretty lame move.

sure, he didnt "sell his soul" to RCA, but guess what? every pretty penny he would have got from RCA is a penny he didnt have before. Every artist in the industry "doesnt get what they deserve" from CD sales. thats not where artists get there big money from anyways. its tours and merch. and also from what the recording company gives them before the start of a new album. i dont remember the term or whatever, but most "big" artists get quiet a bit- and the ones that fail, fail because they blow what they should be saving and spending on their music on cars and houses and crap they dont need.

Over all, mario is about 200% less the celebrity he could have been if he stayed on the show. If he thought he could win it, why not just win it?! whatever anyone can give up wont be like a 1 mil contract and the idol name. he'll be WORSE off. hes "the guy that quit idol". thats all i know him for now. was he even that good of a singer? i forget!

I had initially picked Mario to win it all (during auditions) ... but looking how the season has played out ... I doubt he could have beaten the Bo/Carrie juggernaught.

So, probably 4th place.

He's like Frenchy Davis ... we will NEVER know how he would have done.

*puts on rain poncho* Please don't throw tomatoes at me for saying this, but I never understood the hub-bub surrounding this guy. To me, he is/ was just another flash in the pan. If he had stayed in there would've been two Anthony Federov's vice one.
