| Just a gentle reminder, folks...This is the Mario Vazquez thread. This is not the place to discuss Clay, how Clay got out of his contract, how Ruben's new single sounds, the legalese of the contract itself, etc. | |

| We know the truth Ok. Let's face it. Somebody out there is blackmailing Mario Vasquez. I don't know whether he got a girl pregnant, that he's a porn star or he's gay or what exactly, but it's nothing innocent. The contract with American Idol may be restrictive but it does guarantee a million dollars. With him dropping out so early in the competition, I don't think he has the ability to get a great recording contract on his own. So, Carrie Underwood, the American Idol crown is officially yours to lose. |

As for him seeming guarded in interviews, I think we need a new 'Miranda rights' warning, to be read to anyone before they speak with reporters: "You have the right to remain silent, and you'd be smart to bear that in mind. Anything you say can and will be quoted out of context, paraphrased inaccurately, twisted, and used against you in the court of public opinion. You have the right to an attorney, but if you can't afford one, tough toenails. There's not much an attorney can do about nasty internet rumors and tabloid stories, anyway." ![]()

| I think Mario was an undercover agent sent to infultrate A.I. to make sure a terrorist underworld group was not able to surface and thwart their evil plan upon the grand finale but bowed out when his cover was either blown or the true terrorist underlings were not able to advance into the top 12 and his duties were no longer needed. He shall now move on to another undercover role, a master of disguise using hats to hide his true identity. Or on next week's episode of .. . . . . . . |

| His hair club for men membership expired, he tried to cover up with a variety of hats. Finally he brought out his last emergency toupee, which he thought would last the duration of the show. Alas, it was ruined in the laundry. Rather than face the audience and admit he was living a lie, he quit to save face. That's what I heard anyway... |

| Mario is the new Frenchie Davis. This will be the first year I didn't pick the correct winner. Although, it seems I was bitten by bad luck. |

| He has criminal history so FOX gives him two choices.. One, disqualify him on national TV or TWO, he made up excuses to leave.
