| I was so disappointed in Lyndsey's performance . It was so blah and a terrible song. I understand that everyone was nervous the first show but that's no excuse for a bad song. Even her outfit was blah. You don't wear white on TV, especially if your fair. She's from a very conservative small town and I think she will have to shake off that shy, good girl persona if she's going to make it to the top 12. You have to be memorable in this game and she's very average.

| Basically the same thing I said for Sara: there are some people in this competition that are a bundle of energy and personality, (cough Mikalah cough) and so to come out and peacefully sing a boring song while timidly wandering around the stage in a serene white outfit IS NOT GOING TO CUT IT!!! Lindsey honey, I really like you but seriously, don't fall into the Blandtrap that Sara Mather is constantly caught in. You have an inkling of personality--milk it! If you can be interesting, then maybe you might get their votes. You want to excite America, not put them to sleep! I wish the contestants read the boards...sigh.

| When she was singing all I could think was Julia DeMato, and although Julia did a good "At Last" version on the CD, she was bad on stage, and I do not think Lindsey has enough star power to stay in the competition for too long either. Gone this week, next, or the following, but she has to improve her game considerably if she wants to be in top12.

| I actually like her voice a lot, but also agree she is vulnerable if she doesn't pick up the energy and stir up the crowd some. I liked the song but I don't think the majority held the same opinion. Don't think she will go home tonight. There were worse girls performing last night and only a few real standouts (ie. Carrie, Aloha and Nadia). I know part of this competition is personality and energy, but it always bothers me when some performers (this year--Judd, Mikalah and Constantine) make it on form but little substance and squeeze out some great voices with low personality. Looking forward to next week's performance(s). |

| I hope she stays around as I'd like to hear her sing something different. I think she was SO pretty last night, much prettier than her photo here....but, this isn't a beauty pageant. I felt so-so about her performance last night. Not bad, but didn't stand out. I would like to see her make the top 12, though.

| After last night's performance Julia comes across as better all around. Julia even looks prettier than Lindsey come to think of it. Julia's problem was that she had NO stage presence and judging by last night I could only imagine Lindsey's "moves". |

| I heard from another site that Lindsey has been a smoker since the age of 12, but I don't think that's true. Even if she does smoke, it seemes to be giving her that unique tone to her voice, but it certainly won't benefit her health. |

| Lindsey probably chose that song to be safe -- not take too much of a risk, you know? She isn't very spirited either, seems to hold back and keep to herself. At her first audition, after the judges praised her, she still seemed very subdued. The only time I saw her break out of her shell was running out with her golden ticket and shrieking... other than that, she's very quiet! ![]() After singing this time, her eyes seemed kind of suspiciously moist... especially when Randy told her that she has to showcase her voice and tone. I guess she agreed; hopefully next week she'll pick a better song and show us all what she's made of! ![]()

| That's sad that people are spreading rumors about my future wife being a smoker. I think her personality is a refreshing respite from individuals such as Mikalah who make me want to kill myself everytime they appear on TV. |
