Songwriters of any genre register their songs with BMI. BMI is one of those agencies, along with ASCAP, that help collect & distribute royalties. But, to the best of my knowledge last night was just for Country Music. And as it turns out they were honoring the Top 50 songs of the year. So Carrie had 3, not to bad.

I thought she did a really great job of hosting and some of her dresses were absolutely stunning!

Is that the $60 million dollar necklace? My mouth dropped open when I saw it because it was so breathtaking!

I loved her performance and I loved how she fussed at her mom for making her cry from the 2nd row!

I think the necklace was part of the $60 million. If you look at photos of the short pink dress she wore, you'll notice that it had 3 circle type of openings that were all surrounded by what I thought to be all emeralds, & she also wore what looked to be emerald earrings while she had on this outfit.

Here is a photo of the dress I was talking about above. I believe this is the lions share of the emeralds. Maybe some of you gemologists can correct me if I'm wrong.

It's when she is talking about "seeing" to much of Brad & the interviewer asked if she had photos. Watch it again & notice what she says.
