They track sales by the week. So anytime before Sunday will help her to debut at #1. I am off to Target to get the one with the DVD. It will include accoustic versions of 4 of the new songs, & show her in the studio & other things like that, so it's worth the extra $4 for me.

I hope some of you are watching this GMA show. It is really rare that someone is as good vocally live as they are on record, but Carrie is. She sings So Small (which she dedicated to the folks in California), Before He Cheats, & ends with Flat On The Floor which is an absolute rockin Country song with banjos & fiddles.

GMA has been preempted in our area for fire coverage. Wouldn't you know it? I NEVER watch GMA, but made a special effort this a.m. because of Carrie.

In all seriousness, I'm not complaining. It's been a difficult few days in our neck of the woods. Keep Southern California in your prayers.

I bought the CD today at Target - and spent the extra $4 to the the extras. Now I need to take some time to listen to it! I'm looking forward to hearing. Hope it does well in sales this week.

I got the cd at lunch hour but didn't realize one came with a DVD, darn. Opened it, now I can't exchange it. Forget about the DVD.

can someone buy me the dvd/cd combo from target for me. we don't have target here in hawaii. well, until late of next year and i can't wait for target to finally open up here. but anyways, i did try to check online but i don't see the dvd version only the regular cd one. just let me know if anyone is willing to do so for me and i'll pm my address and work out the payment.

The DVD is really a wonderful behind the scenes lookk at the making of the album & the thought process that went into song selection. There is a 4 part interview with Carrie, Mark Bright the producer is also interviewed quite extensively, & there is some video of Carrie with all the writers at the Ryman working out the songs. But, the highlight is Carrie in the studio with her band doing stripped down versions of So Small, Get Out Of This Town, Just A Dream, & The More Boys I Meet.

Just a word on Just a Dream. This is a song about an 18 year old girl on her way to her wedding with her soldier boyfriend. Only when she gets to the church she finds out it is in fact his funeral. It's truly a heart wrenching song & the DVD version will bring tears to your eyes.

Try Target.com. I saw it there for $13.98 which is what I paid at my local Target store.

for those who offered to purchase one for me, thank you so much. but i found it on target.com. i guess when i checked earlier i either didn't click on the right links and just got the regular cd or when i went early this morning it wasn't there or i just couldn't find it.

again thanks to everyone for the offers.

jumped the gun. shipping to hawaii through target.com is kind of pricey for a cd. would be paying twice the amount of the dvd/cd. total was about $23. i guess i'll go with one of the offers by my fellow fort members.

Was able to exchange my cd for the cd/dvd, it was pretty good. Her singing has improved, seems like she's hitting notes that we haven't heard from her before.

Can't watch her on any of the talk shows here in S. California because of the fires, darn
