She bought a home in Nashville after the Idols tour ended, but before her album was released. Consider she has sold just shy of 5 million CD's. She opened for either Kenny Chesney or Brad Paisley on about 55 - 60 nights. She had another 50 - 60 dates where she was either the headliner or solo act. According to tour statistics published by Billboard Magazine her solo/headlining gigs generated $6.7million in ticket sales (the Chesney & Paisley dates are not included in the sales totals). This doesn't include merchandise & tour souveniers, which could easily generate another 10 grand a night. Then add in all the magazine photo shoots, & endorsements for Hersheys & Sketchers, & I have to believe she won't be standing in any breadlines any time soon.

she looks great..I think that outfit is probably my favorite on her..her hair also looks good, usually they do her hair all wierd lol...but its normal then...she is a really pretty girl. I expect her to win a grammy, she was the biggest female in the country this year.

We can now officially refer to Carrie as a Grammy Award winner!!! She wins for Best Female Vocal by a Country Artist. Jesus Take the Wheel. Congratulations Carrie. On to Best New Artist.

Now there are conflicting reports that it was for best Country song, which goes to the writers.

So to update my update, Carrie did indeed win.
