| Think it might be for the better to be dropped by Clive Davis and RCA, they did nothing for his first album. CD has ruined many careers. |

| That's a shame. Bo is so talented. Hopefully some label will pick him up and utilize his talents better than Clive Davis. |

| Bo's picture is still on the rca website (the banner that scrolls at the top of the page) but he is not listed on the drop down menu of artists. I wish RCA had been interested in working with Bo and promoting him for who he is instead of trying to force him into some non-distinctive contemporary pop-rock style. But if they aren't, Bo is probably better off not being tied to them. At least on his own, or with a smaller indie label, he and SugarMoney can follow their own artistic dream. I never got the feeling Bo cared a lot about being rich and famous. If he can keep doing what he loves, please his many fans, and provide for his family by doing that, I think he's gonna be fine. I just hope he's got his health back by now. And I am looking forward to more albums from Bo and the boys, no matter who produces them.

| I could not agree more. I have been fortunate enough to see Bo in concert (and meet him) two times. You can just see the joy in his face when he is on stage performing with his "brothers". I have seen him in a small venue and a large one. He gets as much pleasure from the little "gigs" as he does the large ones. I just hope Bo gets better so he can get back to performing as he loves to do.... |

| I agree, Graycat. But I think Bo already is moderately successful. And a lot more successful than he and SugarMoney were before Idol. I think his health problems have been his biggest albatross this past year or so. If he and the boys can get back to regular gigging, even if in smaller venues, I think they will be able to make a go of it. And I think if they put out a new album of their own original music soon, I expect it to do well. It may not go beyond gold, but I don't think it has to.

Gary Nichols is a Country artist & has been around Nashville for awhile now, but he had nothing to do with the writing of Before He Cheats (that was Chris Tompkins & Josh Kear & it became the first #1 hit for both of them). I find it interseting that the since the rumors of Bo losing his contract, we now see him spending more time with the Country artists. He has even been spotted in the audience of Nashville Star on 3 different weeks. I have to believe that the Country Rocker friends of Bo are working to help him become the Bo we all knew from AI, & not the Bo that Clive "Let's make you a pop star" Davis foisted on us. | |
