| I saw Bo's visit with Regis and Kelly and was prepared to hear him sing. My husband called from work to repeat an entire conversation that we had last night. When he finally shut up, so had Bo. He often gets huffy because I let the answering machine pick up. Some day I will tell him why. When Bo said that Kelly reminded him of his mother, Kelly said that she was hanging on by a thread. That was funny. Bo seems to have the same relationship with his mother that my sons and I have. |

I think the main reason a lot of people don't vote is because AI doesn't make the total votes public. If they would do that, then I could see a lot of people voting, but when you're not sure if what is going on is for real, you tend to vote with your pocketbook to show who you liked. JMO

| Whooooo! Bo was awesome on Regis today. He accompanied himself on guitar beautifully on a slower version of "Drift Away." His voice was strong but his expression was appropriately warm and wisftul. That man can wring the last drop of meaning out of so many songs. His musicianship was impressive. And it was sooo refreshing to hear ACOUSTIC music by an AI performer--or any performer, for that matter, on a talk show. ![]() I was so worried that Bo was going to be forced to sing the crappy AI "original" song or "Vehicle," which we've heard him do enough times. This is the first time I've seen an AI winner or runner-up get to perform a song that wasn't performed during the finale. Poor Ruben. They forced him to sing "Flying Without Wings" every frickin' time on talk shows for weeks after he won. Fantasia also had to sing her song--which was good--but too many times afterwards. |

| I have to agree, a FANTASTIC appearance by Bo on Regis and Kelly. Long interview portion (7 minutes) followed by a wonderful performance. Bo was witty, charming and very handsome! (plus, he was wearing his sandals! yay!) I am so glad I didn't miss it (thank you, the power of TIVO, lol).

| Okay, after reading this I turned to Regis and Kelly (which I NEVER watch - I hate daytime TV!) and they are interrupting it for "breaking news coverage" of some landslide that happened in Laguna Beach. They are saying that they've been watching the hillside for an hour now and seeing no additional movement. Then they are calling people and confirming that they have not seen additional movement either. I am sympathetic with the people whose house slid down the hill, but I hate it when they put newspeople on for hours with nothing to say! If they preempt Bo I'll be hopping mad!

| WOW!!! What charisma, what class? Bo is fantastic. Watching Bo sit there on Regis and Kelly both singing and playing guitar, understanding and emoting the meaning of the song… how can you NOT love this guy? And talk about diversity? The man is able to perform well in so many music genres. Unlike other Idol contestants he’s not just a one-category-wonder. Classic rock (Drift Away), Contemporary Pop (I don’t wanna be), Funk (For the love of money), is there anything this guy doesn’t do well? ![]() |

And by the way, did anyone else think Bo was struck by the tackiness of the gift of the cars on the finale? I think that's why he sheepishly said "Does any one want a ride?" I guess Bo is happy to get a car, but Ryan sounded like Bob Barker on the Price Is Right announcing the "prize," which will end up costing Bo and Carrier a bundle in taxes. Also, the supposedly unique "prize" to the winner (Carrie) of use of a personal jet sounded bogus to me. Bo just said he will have to fly back to LA to make records while on tour. How is he going to be able to zig-zag that way--by personal jet, natch. By the way, I think it's dumb to wear out Bo that way--forcing him to push out a record that fast while he is touring. Don't they know that he'll still sell zillions of records if he waits a bit? | |

| My husband was trying (and I stress trying) to sing something the other day and I looked at him in horror (did not say a word). He said, "Bo is not the only one that can sing!" LOL |
