| Re: David Archuleta - Season 7 I guess we're just going to have to wait till after the season ends for judges and such to spill the juicy beans. I do know that his employees would most likely not put up with Jeff if he was the stage dad the media is trying to portray. They'd be like "screw you Jeff--I'm going to work for someone else" At least I would be like that. |

| Re: David Archuleta - Season 7 You are never going to get any "juicy beans" from any of the judges. Never. (They still refuse to talk about Taylor Hicks.) All you will ever get is "sources say" and eyewitness reports from those that report what they see and hear. If that's not good enough, then your sources will always be biased friends, relatives, and those on the payroll of the Archuletas. If you find them any more credible than the sources that have been cited over the last 3.5 months and beyond... then so be it.

| Re: David Archuleta - Season 7 Wait what about Taylor Hicks? Did he have a stage dad too? And I don't consider my sources any more reliable than the tabloids. Both are just as bad. That's the problem with this story. |

| Re: David Archuleta - Season 7 At the risk of starting a whole tangent.... they HATED Taylor Hicks and none of them wanted Taylor to win. But if you waited for the official announcement of that you'll be waiting until the cows come home. That's my point.

| Re: David Archuleta - Season 7 I suspect that Jason would not say anything bad about Jeff and as sensitive as he seems to be I would think he feels sorry for David A. Besides.and would also suspect that the legal PR teams for IDOL have advised him to make no comment whatsoever to avoid further possible ligigation from Jeff himself and more show BAD publicity. I'm not surprised about that at all...prudent thing to do since Jason is still under the control of IDOL until after the tour. Jason also does not strike me as a gossip! What useful purpose would it serve him to do so! He may be an airhead but he is far from stupid! |

That would be wonderful, because it'd pave the way for a much-deserved David Cook win.

| Re: David Archuleta - Season 7 David A is a quiet kid. But watch him on stage during the judging. He looks like he is going to pass out, whether the comments are good or bad. I see it because when I was a kid I remember that feeling all too well. It doesn't matter how good/bad you do, what matters is what your parents "think" you should do. And you can see on David's face that he has no clue what will happen when he leaves the stage. I don't need a report to tell me that his father is mentally abusing his son, I see it on his son's face. I'm not saying he is a bad guy, I don't know him. But I wouldn't raise my kid that way. David could be a great singer, he has the voice and the tools, but I fear for him down the road. He has a high chance of turning out very messed up from this whole thing.
